ACCEPTABLE ART & FORMATS
All fonts converted to vector curves with same colour outline only.
When artwork is submitted with border settings within the image, and not resized to exact size, the borders must be converted to outline fills in order to maintain proper resizing alignment. Intersecting areas must be separated into individual segments if hidden or effects art paths and/or strokes are used or submit artwork "sized-as" for imprinting.
2-colour vector files must include the full vector file of the combined colour printing to be done, as well as the individual separation colour vector arts for each colour converted, to black.
If you wish a multi-coloured logo imprinted as a single colour, you must include the black vector art of the logo as desired for imprinting (no gradients). The black will be colour matched according to your PMS requirement(s) during the imprinting itself.
Send digital files, either by disk or e-mail.
All art should be sent as a vector file with all type converted to outlines or curves, with reduced nodes and closed paths.
Four Colour Process custom button files should be built in a vector file, with a placed 300dpi resolution CMYK .eps or .ai file.
Adobe Illustrator: Save as .ai Illustrator CS3, CS2, v10, or v9 (fonts set to curves black outline only.)
Photoshop: Save as .psd, grayscale, (fonts set to vector curves black outline only.)
Corel: v10-12 .cdr accepted, however exporting files as Illustrator v10 or higher .ai (fonts set to curves black outline only) is preferred
PDF: .pdf files are accepted if saved as highest resolution (press) and all type saved to outline or curves.
VECTOR REQUIREMENTS
All images must be vectorized (no raster images). All strokes must be converted to outlines, no gradients, all type saved to outline or curves, and no clipping masks included in the art file.
The same procedure requirement applies to the other vector based programs.
CUSTOMER LOGOS
Buzline is not responsible for any reproduction of unauthorized trademarked or copyrighted logos supplied by distributors. Proper use of trademarked or copyrighted logos is the responsibility of the distributor. All damages incurred as a result of unauthorized use will be the liability and responsibility of the distributor in full.
PRODUCTION
In order to serve you better Buzline, provides, at no charge, an “ART APPROVAL FORM” containing information concerning your order – PLEASE CHECK THEM CAREFULLY!
If you require your artwork changed, there is a minimum charge of $10(G). If you require us to typeset, there is a $25(G) charge.
ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 50 PCS FOR IMPRINTED ORDERS (cannot mix SKU’s to equal minimum quantity.) There is no minimum on blanks.
If you require your artwork emailed, please specify the email address on the PO.
No delivery dates can be assured until the Art Approval Form form is signed and returned.
DELIVERY/RUSH SERVICE
Our normal production time is 8-10 business days; from Art and Order Confirmation Approval. For more information on lead times for overseas shipments, please contact your Customer Service Representative. Our standard rush charge is 15% of the total order. ($50 minimum charge).
OVER/UNDER RUNS
Unless otherwise agreed to, order quantities will be filled plus or minus 2% billed when shipped.
PRODUCT INFO
Buzline reserves the right to improve, alter, or discontinue any of our product line, at any time.
RETURN POLICY/CANCELLATIONS
Defective merchandise and returns must be accompanied by an approved Return Authorization Number. To receive an RA #, contact your Customer Service Representative at Buzline. All claims must be made within 30 days of receipt of merchandise, and the product must be returned to Buzline within 60 days. Credit to your account will be issued only when product is received accordingly. Blank product returns may incur 15% re-stocking fee. Charges may be incurred on any order that has been cancelled up to time of production.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
First Time Orders: Must be prepaid via credit card or company cheque.
Terms: Net 30 days with approved credit. Allow two days for credit application review and approval.
Credit Cards: We accept VISA.
Wire Transfer: Call for instructions.
Late Payments: Invoices are due net 30. Accounts over 30 days past due will be charged a finance charge of 1½ % per month on unpaid balance.
SHIPPING
F.O.B. Point: Parksville, BC unless noted otherwise. If you are asking us to ship Internationally, an “International Account number” must be provided. You must sign our shipping form accepting responsibility for all taxes, brokerage and duties incurred.
HANDLING CHARGES
$6.00 handling fee for all orders. There will be an additional $6.00 charge for every drop ship location.
SAMPLE PRODUCT POLICY
Samples: Up to 5 sample products free (some exceptions apply).
We also have $20 and $30 sample kits available.
Please call for details.
Requests for quantities over 5 samples will be invoiced at EQP, plus freight charges.
Every effort is made to process sample orders within 48 hours. Shipper #’s must be provided.
FOR ALL U.S. SHIPMENTS
We require you to supply the US Tax ID number, and your US courier account number.
For Trade Show/Conferences you can get the TAX ID number of the facility that is hosting the show (ie: Hotel) by contacting their accounting dept.
This will be effective immediately.
CHINA IMPRINT ORDERS
Please note that due to changes in the China Customs (Exporting) we require a letter stating we have permission to use the Logo from each company who's registered"Trademark or Copyright" Logo we are printing.
This only pertains to anything that is copyright or trademarked and printed in China. This is not necessary for anything printed at our warehouse. This change is effective immediately. Thank you very much for your assistance.
